My one bedroom apartment was nice. The bedroom was a bit small and the unit could of used more insulation for sound proofing when they were built but then again this is apartment living. Besides from that it was quite a nice unit for a single person. Management "Amanda" sugar coats every issue you need addressed. I tried for two years to get my door intercom working. I was told by Amanda "just go to the window to see who is there" luckly I did face the parking lot and was able to do just that--"for two years." Then there was the issue of my electric baseboard which broke in the bathroom. Once again I was told by Amanda "When I lived here I never even turned my electric on in the bathroom" the heat from the other rooms was enough to heat the bathroom." My bathroom issue was finally fixed but a statement like that would of never come from a competent managment company. I could go on with other issues but I think by now you get my point about the managment at Southwind. I am a immaculate professional single person in my 40?s and the only one who lived in my unit. I ate out most of the time and yet $20.00 was taken from my deposit--when I asked why I was told it was the cost to wipe out the cabinets & drawers in the kitchen. I truely hope that this was not the case with the former tenant before I moved in seeing that I was the one who had to clean my cabinets & drawers before I could fill them with kitchen items.

So beware of your deposit money because they will nickel & dime every penny of it!!
