I was a tenant in a 1Bd at the Southwind Apartments from the time I sold my home in Woodbridge in July, 1998 to October, 1999. My main residence is in the Bahamas, but I returned to CT for one week a month to tend to my stroke-afflicted father who then still lived in Woodbridge.

Although my stay was sporatic and short-term, I want to say how enjoyable it was. The staff and facility far exceeded my expectations. I have never lived in an apartment before. I chose Wallingford because it was closer to the airport (than Woodbridge). I was flabergasted to hear how old the complex was, it lives, feels and looks much newer. The landscaping is always in order. Maintenance is kept up. I only had a small leak once which Bill tended to immediately. The pool was a delight -- clean, private and peacful. Amanda and Ron were always available to answer any questions, receive packages in my absense and generally create a friendly and comfortable environment which is almost familial. Their genuine warmth and sincerity are qualities I thought were gone from the area and were greatly appreciated.

I thank them for providing me with a "home" for a while and congratulate them on their superb performance in this highly competitive rental market. They are to be commended and truly appreciated.
