I actually think that out of all the people that live here in any given year (100' 200' 300'), these few complaints show that the majority of the tenants ARE HAPPY like me.

I moved into Southwind a year ago because I liked the fact that it's right off the highway and it's easy for me to travel to all of CT, MA & NY for my job. My apartment was completely remodeled before I moved in and I loved that. The apartment is clean and cozy. The grounds are beautiful - I love the flowering trees in the spring and the holly bushes with the berries in the winter. Everything always looks so pretty and is well maintained. I have a very high profile job and I'm always proud to have people visit me at home.

I don't understand what these people are talking about when they whine about "paper thin" walls and stuff. It's an apartment! If you want complet silence, why don't you buy a house' I hear very little and what I do hear I hardly notice anymore. Most of the people I've met here are very nice and appear to be working professionals. People leave you alone - they're all doing their own thing. But, there are all kinds of people in the world and to expect that everyone in your building is going to get along with you is expecting a little much.

I've only had two minor maintenance problems and they were indeed taken care of within 2 days. Max was very nice - not real talkative, just there to do his job - VERY professional. I've also dealt with Iris and another tall man and I've never felt that any of them were going to rip me off. I got the impression they could care less what I had in my apartment.

I found this site while looking online for retirement housing for my father and I have to say that I agree with those who feel this is a site for "complainers" and I believe, too, that they are probably unjustified. It's impossible to make EVERYONE happy. All I know is that I am - VERY - and so is everyone I've come in contact with since moving here.

It goes without saying that the office staff (especially Amanda) are the warmest, most caring of any I've ever come in contact with. She REALLY cares about people and it shows.
