Im not to sure why so many people disliked Southwind. I absolutely love it! My busband and I which we never had to leave. The thing I loved the most was the kitchen because it was recently renovated with nice countertops and cabinets. I love Mel in the office. She was one the sweetest most genuine people you will ever meet, and Im not sure why so many disliked her. The pool was sometimes closed in the summer which was a little annoying, but they were only looking out for out safety I suppose. Alot of people complained about it being so close to 91. Well you knew when you got there it was next to 91, not like after you signed your lease all of a sudden there appeared 91 out of nowhere...I couldn't really hear 91 unless I had my windows or patio door open, and its actually really nice living so close to the highway. Wallingford is adorable and the electricity is very cheap and thats really great. I think Southwind is fabulous and would recommend it to anyone. The apartments aren't huge, but its rare to find places that have been kept up so nicely. I'll really miss Mel who is a gem and Max the maintnance man who always got everything done so fast. The rest of the staff is very nice as well. Don't listen to all these negative reviews, this place was great and I'm so sad to go :(
