This place is very nice. Very clean when you move in. The price is definitely right and get this: You can have your DOG here, yet surprisingly in all the time we have lived here havent come across any random dog-poos lying about. Mall and shopping centers across the street. Huge park behind us. The first half of the complex is mostly three bedrooms and visibly shady, always out on the lawn with 20 people and most definitly selling something, although when you meet the people they turn out to be very nice. The back has mostly single twenty somethings, some grad and law students who commute to new haven (not a far ride), and is quiet and pleasant. Hartford is only 20 minutes away, same for Hamden, New haven 25 minutes, Bridgeport same.
It's a dead-end so theres no through traffic, and its on the outskirts of downtown, just a mile from city-centre, but far enough away to avoid any trouble. We have been here for a year and have neither had, nor heard of, and problems with crime.
The fences to the park are open in places so you have a few people that use the complex as a cut-through, which is a little strange.
Management (Barbara) is very nice and extrememly helpful, she lives in the complex and is always available but never nosy and has never made a complaint to us about anything.
Overall great experience, we're renewing our lease another year at least.
