I have lived at this apartment building for nearly two years. I should have moved at the end of the first lease but I couldn t find anything in my price range at the time. When I first moved in it was winter time and all seemed nice. I turned on my heat and it didn t work, I made several calls to the manager "Barbara" and was told several times that they had come out and fixed it. Well, I get home from work and yup, you guessed it...Heat still doesn t work. (Heat and hot water is included in rental cost) Finally got the heat issue fixed after about 2 weeks of freezing cold nights. Next comes the hot water. The hot water is almost never hot. Made several phone calls regarding that issue and I was told "well, don t take showers at peak times" Also each unit has a washer and dryer hookup, after about 6 months of living there they had sent a plumber into each unit to disconnect the hot water from each washing machine so now you cant even wash your clothes in the hot water that is supposedly included in my rent. The units have a 220 outlet for an electric dryer but no way to vent it to the outside unless you go to home depot and buy a 10 foot dryer vent, run it across the kitchen floor and out the window. Not very convenient at all. Next comes the banging pipes that you hear all year round. Don t know what it is but they make and awful banging sound at all hours of the night. So lets get to the snow removal, or lack of...They have a pickup truck with a 7 foot plow. They make one pass thru the common area and that is it. They do not ask anyone to move your cars and they will not even plow the parking spot if your car is not there. Forget about them doing the walkways. During last years somewhat of a blizzard I spent an entire day digging out the entrance to my house. They do nothing at this place. The road is riddled with huge 3 foot wide pot holes that they keep trying to patch with no luck, I have an assigned parking spot that almost always seems to be occupied by someone other than myself, the on street parking is always filled with IDIOTS that do not know how to park a car properly and leave just enough room between them and the car in front of them so that your car wont fit, many people park facing the wrong direction on the wrong side of the road. And the noise is unbearable at times, kids are outside at all hours of the night making a racket and dogs are always always outside barking. Speaking of dogs, the small grass area behind my unit is littered with dog feces, garbage upon garbage and a smattering of Childs toys all over the place. The grounds are poorly kept and it seems the landscapers come once a month if I am lucky and they run over anything that is on the grounds which seems to double the trashy look of these apartments. The mix of people is shady to say the least and this is a place that you DO NOT WANT your kids growing up at. My tiles in my kitchen are peeling up and gross looking, they use the cheap home depot stick ons. My floor is soft in spots and I am guessing it is from previous water damage, my fridge leaks all over the place and I am missing window screens in half the windows. I also received an eviction notice stating that I haven t paid my rent in four months. I went to the bank and got all the cashed checks by the management and showed them and there answer was "ohhh, sorry"
THIS IS NOT A PLACE THAT YOU WANT TO LIVE EVEN IF IT IS CHEAP...DONT SIGN A LEASE HERE..THE MANAGER IS THE WICKED WITCH OF WATERBURY AND SPEAKS AS IF SHE DRIVES A TRUCK. SHE IS MOODY AND DOESNT DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU....RENTER BEWARE...

Barbara iz the best ok thats beacause with out her you guys would do what eva ya please there i have been there many times because i own the property and barbara keeps you guys in order and i like that

YOU ARE SO RIGHT SHE'S AN IDIOT TO SAY THE LEAST! I HAD GOTTEN A NOTICE TO QUIT WHEN MY RENTAL PAYMENTS WERE PAID ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST EACH MONTH AS WELL. IT'S A FAIRLY SIMPLE TASK, PAID OR NOT PAID! SHE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT QUALIFIED TO BE A PROPERTY MANAGER. AND TO THE PERSON WHO COMMENTED ABOVE, I'M SURE YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE OWNER! I'M HOPING SOMEONE WHO OWNS A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR PROPERTY WOULD SPELL "IS" CORRECTLY, NOT "IZ" YOU MORON!
