I lived there for 2 years and I felt that the positives were equal to the negatives.

POSITIVES:
The location of the complex is within minutes of the highway and Westfarms mall. The buildings are in good shape for their age and the staff keep the grounds clean from snow and the lawn is always cut. Apartments come with new air conditioners and ample living space for 1 or 2 people. Maintenance service is quick to fix your problems and have a maintenance emergency feature of the office's voicemail

NEGATIVES:
There is high turnover in the rental office, seems like there is a new person you are dealing with every couple months. The walls and floors are very thin, you can hear conversations and pretty much every movement a neighbor above makes. Rent is a little high (unless you live in the basement)and watch out for the additional monthly charges ($9/ month trash removal $7 community water bill and $2 bogus service fee.) Finally parking is an issue, if you live in a 1 bedroom you only get 1 space and visitor spaces are limited to 5 or so. Also you frequently find people parked in you space, which is extremely annoying since there is no enforcement to keep people out of your space.
