Me and my fiance moved in here about 6 months ago and have found it to be an okay place to live. We just graduated college and both have jobs in the hartford area. The commute is great since we live right off the highway. I am from the country and find it great that everything is so close...its nice having a 24 hour diner within walking distance.

The size of the apartment isn't too bad either..and having the deck is a nice feature. The noise level can be somewhat bad sometimes...but i find to be at least quieter than living in the dorms. Some loud music is played from time to time but hasn't disrupted my sleep (although ive grown accustomed to sleeping with a fan at night during college to drown out the noise). The gym is ok too...we use it since we were forced to pay for it, and find that it is generally not very crowded and have decent machines. However, it would be nice if parents tried to control there kids a little more. We went in to work out one night and these 2 kids were soaking wet from playing in the pool and were playing on the exercise machines! All of the seats and the treadmill were soaking wet. Also, the gym is now shut down cuz some kids vandalized the place.

I have to agree with some of the other postings in regards to the security. It is a pain to have friends over. We went at midnight once to get passes for our guest so they won't get towed and the security guard wasn't even there! We had to wait like half an hour. Also, if u live here u need to get used to people rumaging through your dumsters for ----. There are constantly homeless people in there and then i see them at the stop and shop down the road redeaming the cans and bottles they find (which i also found a hypodermic needle in my cart).

Although there are many pros and cons with living here..we prob won't stay very long but its a good place to start out with...it definately gives u a tast of city life. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
