You have to expect things to be not "picture perfect" when living in an apartment, especially at a complex like this where there are 6 units in one building. People realize that they are only here temporarily, so they don't treat the grounds or common areas (like hallways) with any respect. I've seen on many occasions people just throwing their coffee cup or soda can on the ground, when there are 4 dumpsters within 100 feet of them. People smoke in the hallways, play loud music, and basically just make your life miserable.
Some good things about Grove Hill - good closet space (I agree with a previous post - DO NOT put your items in the chicken wire storage bins in the basement), heat and hot water included, and they are pretty good about picking up leaves and removing snow. Bad points - only 1 parking spot per apartment, smoky hallways, and old appliances. Good for temporary living.
