A Mixed Bag

Botton line about Kenneth Gardens is that you could probably do better. Nothing terrible, nothing great either.
Do not make the mistake of renting this apartment without seeing it. They have some fancy pictures on the internet. Do not be fooled. The building is old looking both inside and outside. In my particular unit, kitchen and closet cupboards were falling apart as soon as you pulled them out for the first time. The carpets were actually nice and neat. There is supposed to be some kind of centralized temperature regulatory system, but temperature control is simply inadequate: you kind of freeze in the winter and burn in the summer. The walls are paper thin and you literarily can hear every word of conversations in the adjacent apartment (and of course vice-versa). Neighbors are great, so please ignore the racist commnets of that one reviewer. Parking is generally not a problem unless you are coming in late on Fri-Sun, in which case you have to hunt for a spot. Services are up and down, sometimes you call for something and it is done right away, other times it takes them weeks, if they come at all. Crime is not an issue here and there are no animals walking around. Neither rodents nor noise are much of an issue. If beauty is what you are seeking for the grounds of where you live, you should perhaps look elsewhere. The neighborhood is not bad but it is simply dull and uninspiring. When you are leaving, they look for every reason not to give you back any of your deposit and in my case, they of course charged me for those cupboards.
Again, if you know what you are getting into and you are willing to accept it, this may be OK. In my opinion, for the rent, you could probably do significantly better.
