I had a slightly different experience with Natural Park Apartments. Before I write all of my negative experiences, I must say that these are good apartments if you are looking for quiet and/or professional/mature lifestyle. However I believe the management is not very professional and attentive. I lived here for a year (9/05 to 9/06) with a roommate. I was a graduate student at the time and as you can imagine, I had nothing but research towards a graduate degree.

The apartment that we took had a beating before. The interior was mediocre and there were big rips in the rugs. The rugs were also quite old, not soft at all. Probably, it should have been replaced before we moved in. Oh by the way, they tried to charge us for the rips in the carpets while we were moving out.

The parking became a huge issue soon after we moved in. Every apartment has strictly two parking spots. I had a car and my roommate had two cars and we had quite difficult time with Steve, finally he allowed us (to his credit) to park.

The premises are usually kept well but not all the time. Landlord plows the snow himself (to reduce costs) and unfortunately he lives somewhat far away (I believe it was Hartford). After a big snow storm, he didn't arrive at the premises to open up the drive way until 4pm. Everybody (except people with big trucks) were stuck since the driveway is somewhat steep down hill and his excuse was "other properties that he needed to take care of."

Overall, I wouldn't recommend these apartments for residence. I am sure you can find similar settings with better management especially if you look at apartments near Vernon, or much cheaper and similar quality apartments near UConn.
