I moved into Willington Oaks very optimistic and I loved the setting (in the woods). Halfway through the year, the management changed to Konover Residential (GR8Space). I have had many problems with this management company. They tried to take the chains off of the doors, claiming that their maintenance couldn't enter in emergency cases. I did have an emergency once and called their after hours staff. I was locked out of my apartment at 3am. I was told to call a locksmith but couldn't get ahold of one in the area and I also couldn't get ahold of any friends to pick me up. I was told by their emergency after hours staff to either break my own window or sleep in my car. They then hung up on me. This is just one of many examples of how unprofessional and disresectful this management company is. They try to put on a good show, however, they do not care about their individual tenants...only making a profit. The apartments are overpriced and basically nothing works. My fan in my bathroom doesnt work and there is mold growing on the walls now. My pipes are all corroding. There are roaches in the basement where the laundry machine is. There are no fans above the stoves. My electricty was wired so every outlet goes to the same fuse, therefore, the fuse blows every time I have all my lights on. I have notified my landlords numerous times about these issues and nothing has ever been done. A word to the wise, don't live here. I now live in the springville mill in Vernon. I highly recommend this apartment complex. Also, Cedar Ridge is a good, closer to campus, choice.
