horrible building condition & irrational rules - Very bad building contruction, especially in winter, wind can come in from the window. You have to pay about $400 a month for heating bill. The roof was linking from the rain, didn't fix it after a month. I lived here for 2 years, they kept increasing the rent, even though the current rent for new tenants they listed on web are a lower than what I was paying. They are not ...Full review of River's Bend

Beautiful place to live, but a few concerns Very beautiful landscape, especially in early spring. The indoor pool is awesome, we often find only the two of us using it. The place is Quite and yet children friendly.
Few things I don't like:
1.The air conditioner. Old and noisy.

Great Place Reasons why I love River's Bend:
1. In the morning, I get the most amazing sunlight through my doors and windows.
2. At night, I can step outside and it is QUIET. I can look up at the stars and feel safe and comfortable.
3. I'm centrally located to everything I need:

The best Of course its expensive. Living in CT is expensive. I researched alot of places before I moved here. Nothing compares. I'm glad of all the fees. No low income B.S. to put up with. No noisy kids at 11 at night. No thump thump of the real intelligent peoples radios rattling my windows.

To Be Fair, There Are a Lot Worse Places to Live The biggest problem with River's Bend is the heating bill during the winter. All of the apartments are electrically heated and my electric bill will range from $35 in the summer (without using the AC but just fans) up to $400 during the

Rental Homes Reading so many reviews about price and features leads me to believe that people don't understand River's Bend at all.

Nice Apartments I have lived at River's Bend for 3 years, in 2 different apartments and I really like it. Yes, the appliances are old - but they work so why does age matter? I have dogs and I do pick up after them, but people often don't pick up after their dogs. While this

River's Bend doesn't deserve the bad reviews I have lived at River's Bend for a longtime, and am hurt by the bad reviews. Any apartment will have it's noisy neighbors or cars that park where they are not supposed to. I have never had a problem with the staff. I think that

Very High Electric bills in the winter This place is so outdated. The windows freeze up in the winter..Our electric bill was running about 400.00 a month. The ladies in the office were very nice at our signing but after we moved in and started to have some problems they seem to become very snobby.

Don't Recommend, What is it becoming? We moved here less than two years ago. It had beautiful grounds; well manicured, a river, two pools and lots of forest. By winter we found out how well insulated the units were. You can easily hear your neighbors walk. Shrink wrap the
