Although there are problems with bugs of many sorts, there are regular sprayings and an opportunity to be placed on a list for in between visits. Noise in the back units is tremendous during the early AM and around 9pm given significant loading dock activity. I am told traffic noise is a problem in the front of the building. The hallway carpeting is in desperate need of replacement and it would be great if there were more laundry machines.

Still, the staff is very helpful - from the front desk to the valet to Housekeeping - and the rent is very affordable given the neighborhood and amenities. I would suggest that while tenants range in age from undergrad to senior citizens, most are young professionals and working families. If one works in downtown DC, they can walk virtually anywhere from the building. Aside from loading dock noise and bugs, this is a great place to start out and establish one's self.
