I?ve had an apartment at 1500 for 24 years. The location is just too good to believe, given the rental rates. You?re just around the corner from the Washington Post, even closer to exclusive hotels like the Jefferson and right across the circle from embassies. Management is reasonable and friendly. The units have an early 50s feel because that?s when it was built. Kitchens are confined to one wall and most have only pint-size fridges. The good news is that, with the NEA Cafeteria right next door, you never have to cook breakfast or lunch. The clientelle has steadily gone upscale over the last decade. You have to pay extra for parking, but it?s convenient.
