I moved in because one of my good friends lived there. He moved in because of his friends I believe. I paid $800 per month for a year and then $820 per month after that. I was very happy with my room. The apartment faces 16th street, which can be loud at times, but I got used to it very quickly. I love the bathroom!!! It is as big as some of the studios Washington offers. The management is also very prompt at fixing things. The front desk service varies, depending on the different ladies who work in the front.
The only drawback is the laundry room. My friend's laundry got stolen, and so did mine. So get Renters Insurance. I can kind of understand because it is a huge building. They always tell you to wait in the laundry room...but who does that'
Great location...you won't miss one single happy hour at Dupont. The walk is about 10 minutes to Dupont Metro. It gets long sometimes, but generally pretty pleasant.
Anyway, one of the best deals one can find in Washington, DC.
