Look elsewhere

What a craphole. I don't know how the average reviews are tending towards good. The location is good, granted, but the prices are no longer as competitive as when I moved in. Look elsewhere for something newer and with management that cares what you think. As has been mentioned, the carpet HAS TO GO. The bug/rodent infestation is neverending. And management is inept. One lovely woman who works the overnight shift most weekdays is ALWAYS asleep at the front desk. Safe, huh' Also, the folks in charge of taking rent/other financial matters can't be trusted. I was slapped with a late fee for a check that was not late. I showed them the carbon copy of the check and was told that I was making it up. Ok, whatever. Also, my rent has been raised every 6 months. All in all, you can do much better. This is a 1950s relic that needs to be completely renovated.
And don't think about getting things fixed in your apt. Workmanship is shoddy; I've tried 3 times to get a problem with my sink fixed. Also, mail is lost about once a month that I expect to be delivered and on average at least 3 of the overpriced washers and dryers are "out of service."
