I've been here for 7 months and absolutely love it here.

The people are all friendly and responsive (I had a problem with my fridge and maintenance was there in a matter of minutes). The location is perfect (walking distance to two different metro stops and metro lines, next to Dupont). I have a great apartment with tons of closet space. Granted the kitchen is definitely on the small side, but it is large enough for what I need, and larger enough for me. While a dishwasher would be nice, its not a necessity to me, and the added closet space and general living space more than makes up for it.

I receive tons of natural light, and while the street can be noisy, what else do you expect living in the city, and right on Mass Ave.

So the best example of my affinity for this apartment can be shown by the fact that even when I graduate from Law School and am making tons of money, if I am still living in DC I will still be living in this apartment.
