1500 has a great location, and I have no major complaints. Biggest negative would be the hallways and their deteriorating rugs. Staff is friendly and maintenance has always been speedy in fixing any problems. It's no luxury apartment, but for the price (relative to any other apartments in this great location), it's not a bad deal. I've always felt safe in the building. I agree with previous posters about the strong smell of food (especially Indian) in the hallways, but that's just made me want to find the food so I can eat it since it smells a whole lot better than whatever cook. Would I want to live here in 5 years' No, but it's a great place (for the price) for a couple of years in grad school.
