I visited the property as a prospective renter for an efficiency. While the entrance and the lobby seemed OK, the rest of the building definitely looked very poorly maintained.
The hallways, that other reviewers have mentioned, had an ancient smelly carpeting. Every few steps, I noticed masking tape used to cover up a tear in the carpet.
The interior of my studio was freshly painted, and the carpet looked new, however the appliances and fixtures were quite old.
The apartment only had a half-size office-like refrigerator. Might be OK if you only eat outside, but definitely not suitable for someone who likes to stock up on food.
Since the building is facing pretty noisy streets, I expect this to be an issue. Parking may also be a problem.
Overall, I felt that the building was poorly maintained and way overpriced. There are much better deals in DC.
