Cathedral Mansions South
2900 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008

Location is the best - I have lived in the neighborhood for almost two years and when I decided to move to an apt. on my own, you could not beat the location/price. You are right by both Cathedral and Woodley Park metros. The building is old, but that is part of the charm. All kitchens are brand new when you move in and have dishwashers and gas stoves great if you like to cook).

great value - When I began looking for apartments in DC a few weeks before relocating I couldn't believe how much more they cost than back home. When I found the Palisades I was more than pleased! They were about 200-300 less than other studios I looked at in the same area and a little bigger. In the 3 years I lived in the building I never had any maintenance problems, just a few light bulbs that ...Full review of Palisades

Never ever move here - I hate living here. They are the worst place to ever live in on this planet. The rental office people are so lazy and they act like it's a problem when you ask them to do their job. This is my first apartment ever and my experience was not a good one. When I first moved in I kept having leaks and they would come and half fix it. Then when I finally asked to be moved they acted like they ...Full review of Colonnade

THE RESIDENT OF HUNTINGTON VILLAGE - I am a former tenants of Hunter Pines new name (Huntington Village). And all I have to say is that don't let the renovations fool you. If you driving a nice car, your car will get stolen. And every you turn around their is always gun shots in the neighborhood. And the big problem is poor management. ...Full review of Huntington Village

- I have been living in Jetu since 1982. I recetly moved in 2007. Jetu apartments are nice and great as far as location. It is not the community it is the people living there. If the tenants do not clean up their apt then everyone will have a rodent problem. It is the ghetto people bringing there ghetto friend around the neighborhood to mess it up. I have had problems but the problem can be fixed ...Full review of Jetu Apartments

Maintance Sucks - Trying to get maintenance into the apartment is very hard. Having meaningful items in our apartment we ask that the maintenance personal do not come in without us being here. I work nights and sleep during the day time so I ask them to call me and wake me up before coming over. I never get calls from them, and they never show up. I have to track them down and talk to them personally and then ...Full review of Crestwood Apartments

It's OK for a starter apt. but look eslewhere - I totally agree with one the previous posting. The area is extermely nosiy and busy, no matter the time of year. I have been living on property for nearly two years and have been looking for a new apartment since year two. I too suspect Desi or the maintence man stole over $500.00 from me when my roommate and I were out of town. The laundryroom and trashrooms are roaches infested, so be ...Full review of Paramount Apartments

Good location, building needs work - Hilltop's location is good, building is in really poor shape though. Lobby looks nice, but the building is old, showing it's age and needs work. Definitely smelly hallways as someone else posted. Old apartments need constant maintenance and attention. Parking is definitely difficult and it can be sketchy to walk at night. Laundry is expensive, the machines are old and ...Full review of Hilltop House
