Deceivingly Terrible

This apartment looks nice from the outside and with the amenities, seems like a find, but it truly is not work the rent, or even half of the rent. Problems mainly stem from the undergrads at nearby GW, who sometimes treat it like a fraternity house. Things get broken constantly around the common areas, and are slow to be repaired. I constantly hear music blaring down the hallways, beer bottles everywhere, and dog urine in many of the stairwells.
The management staff is not helpful at all. They are very kind when you sign the lease, but you'll be lucky if they fit you in after that because they are busy trying to usher new people into the building. Good luck with some of the other amenities, like the "e-lounge", which is constantly packed with undergrads who broke the computers for several months and make each place untenable enough to be unusable.
Word of advice: make sure you know undergrads are not in your building when you come here. I have been here less than a year, and have seen a mass exodus of the older population and a exponential decline in the quality of the residences since.
To top it off, my rent just got jacked-up $300 if I wanted to stay here for another year, and I am facing an alleyway. Ridiculous.
