The manager/management is horrible. As other reviewers have already stated, there is rarely anyone at the front desk. There is only a front desk person hired to take care of your needs and give you your packages about 3 months out of the entire year. The manager is unfriendly, lazy, and rude. She acts like it is so painful for her to give you your packages, while she sits in her cubby whole office all day and does who knows what' The manager is shady, shady, shady - if your locked out of your apartment in the middle of the night be prepared to pay up to 100 dollars in cash to be let in b/c that is the management's policy to pocket your money for an honest mistake. The only positives about this place is the maintenance guy - he is friendly and takes care of your needs. If you are looking for friendly apartment neigbhors good luck. But the area is safe and a short walk to almost anywhere of interest - foggy bottom metro, gwu, georgetown, white house, restaurants, etc. Parking is available but extremely expensive. Another negative is that the homeless/bums hang out right in front of the apartment - they keep to themselves most of the time, but can be annoying, especially if you have to walk by them everyday. And just one more negative, you don't get to decide when the heat/air conditioning is turned on or off - if your too hot and want air and the manager hasn't turned it on yet - tough luck.

THIS IS NOT A TRUE STATEMENT, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE AT THE FRONT DESK UNLESS WE ARE SHOWING AN APARTMENT OR AT LUNCH. THERE IS ALWAYS A LOCK-OUT FEE FOR ANYWHERE YOU LIVE AND THE MANAGEMENT IS NOT RUDE BUT STERN. THE HOLDING OF PACKAGES IS A COURTESY NOT AN OBLIGATION OR REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT.
