I just moved into a studio at 2400 Pennsylvania and have been very happy here so far. My apartment is not huge, but gets great light through the windows, and I was pleasantly surprised by the finishes in the kitchen and bathroom-- the cabinets are nice, the tub is shiny and clean, water pressure is great, windows look new, fridge is huge and very clean, counters are modern and new.

I only encountered a few minor maintenance problems upon moving in, all of which were resolved promptly. Building staff are very friendly and greet me whenever I walk by the main desk. Also of note: there is free coffee/tea in the lobby, which is really nice. The lobby is also cozy and welcoming. The building is ALWAYS very clean-- even the trash room smells clean.

The laundry room is well-lit and machines seem to function well. There is even a TV down there, and some murals, to make the mundane task of laundry a bit more exciting.

The location of this building is great. No, it's not quite as exciting as Dupont or Adams Morgan or Georgetown, but the central location is really unbeatable-- walk to Georgetown or Dupont or the White House in all of ten minutes. And there are plenty of amenities around-- restaurants, convenience stores, gyms, and so on, not to mention a Trader Joe's a block away. The area feels very safe and is conveniently located within one block of the Foggy Bottom metro.

This building seems to have a good mix of students and older residents.
