The apartments are well-insulated (being concrete) from typical noisy ugly Americans. Its on a hill so get a clue if you get an apartment facing the road out front: people will be gunning their engines to go up it (do I have to think for everybody'). Likewise by the pool out back. If quiet important to you then get on the back side away from the pool. The apartments and insides are nice, and a good view of the nearby wooded park.
BTW, the comment that Charles Smith Management Company is unethical and doesn t care about customers is such BS by typical American victim whiner. Where else do you get a move in guarantee where you can walk away if not satisfied' Where else in DC do you get huge selections of apartments that you can move among without breaking your lease' Such whiney stupid people...remember that 1/3 of the people in America are nuts, so if 70% or more recommend a place it is really like 100%
About raising rates, hell I could say they raised mine a million dollars or whatever. Its apartments, they own them, can charge what they want (its a BUSINESS, stupid, and they charge market rates.
Want cheap rates' Move to India.

I appreciate your review, Yama, but if you hate Americans so much then please go back to your country. We're not forcing you to stay here. I'm sorry that you must have had such unfavorable experiences with Americans, but I assure you that we are not all "stupid, ugly, and nuts." Please try to keep racial biases out of apartment reviews in the future to avoid offending readers.

Why would you appreciate that review, Roses? It has no substance except a 2nd grade diatribe on psychology and economics. (The apartment building is a BUSINESS? THANKS, YAMA!) Don't be such a spineless PC apologist, you'll live longer. I flagged this review because it was worthless.
