With the nearby construction and management, this apartment was less than desirable.

Although the building had potential, the walls were so thin, that a fairly normal conversation could be heard through them. A large high-rise condominium was being built just feet from 3801 and the noise was terrible!!!! Every morning at 7:00, whether you wanted to or not, you would be up - - even on Saturdays!!! Presently, the construction is no where near complete.
One of the worst things to deal with, was the large metal door that each unit has to the hallway. No rubber stoppers or any type of cushioning device was used between the metal door and the metal frame. As you might surmise, the slamming was consistently unbearable. When I approached the management about fixing the problem (I even offered to fix and pay for my neighbors? doors myself), I experienced no cooperation, or even minimal interest.
Nevertheless, Cleveland Park is a wonderful place to live in DC. For those who want a safe place to live, and are lucky enough to find a unit on the Rock Creek Park side with civilized neighbors, you might try it.
However, the prices are continuously on the rise. Every morning, there were bland, cheap donuts and coffee. I wish that money was spent to fix things, limit noise, and generally make things more pleasant.
