I was very happy with aspects of this building, but I would not recommend it. In all honesty I make a lot more money than most 28 year olds, and my family is also wealthy. The management here in this building know as much, and they have taken advantage of it. On one hand, they treat me very nicely, but they are ripping me off. They have lowered the rent twice since I moved in, and they will not lower my rent.

I think they treat me better in all honesty than most tenants, and that in itself is not very fair. This building is over-priced for everyone. As for me personally, I used to live in a great area of San Francisco where I could walk to excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, book stores and had a view of Golden Gate Park as well as the ocean, and I paid less than I do here.

3801 has no character. It's like a giant monster ---- concrete blocks in the fifties and called it an apartment building.

The exercise room consists of an attrocious six machines. I have never used the social room, which, although nice, is dark and hidden downstairs.

Unless you never want to save enough money for a sizeable downpayment, have no problem screwing your parents or you are just stinking rich, do not live here.

okay, so you're wealthy. Go back to San Fran. 3801 is an old building. What do you suggest, WRIT tear the building down, and displace residents? HUH If you knew property management, the cost/prices go up and down, depending on ads for specials. The area is very nice and convient.
