What a nightmare. I'm not going to go into a diatribe about how awful the building is except to say that there are a TON of rats and mice running through the walls. When we moved out there were RAT DROPPINGS all over the apt and we put out traps and caught 3 or 4 every week for about 5 months. They overcharge for rent as well in my opinion, but hey, its DC.
If anyone doubts me I have photos of rats in traps and the droppings.
many people also smoke in their apt and keep the windows closed ( I am a smoker and it bothers me). It smells like the airport smoking room at times.

Hi. I am thinking of renting short term here but the thought of tons of rats is awful. I don't see anyone else mentioning them...what was the building's response to your issue?
