Is it still that bad? - Dear all, I would appreciate some candid advice (from a non-leasing agent) on the virtues of this building. Is the management still poor? Are there still people having sex in the pool? How's the noise level for apartments facing the courtyard? It's been a few months since anyone has posted a review so I'm hopeful that the situation has improved in the interim. ...Full review of Mass Court Apartments

You just have to be an adult, that's all. - I've lived here for three years, and I love it. The doormen are fantastic--I don't know why anyone would complain about the fact that they are good at their jobs and conscientious. Part of the reason I decided to live here is that it is a safe building--I appreciate the fact that they "hassle" strangers who make their way into the building. The maintenance guys are ...Full review of Meridian at Gallery Place

I like it here - moved into building in August 2009. Have found it to be quiet, clean, well maintained, helpful and friendly staff, responsive manager, thoughtful approach. Residents seem to agree. Its a younger group of people living here and therefore a bit transient. Rents are reasonable for the neighborhood. The Manager is even keeled and a good listener, responsive. Complaints? ...Full review of 3801 Connecticut Avenue

OH EM GEE! - WINGATE TOWERS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST APARTMENT I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. MY CHILDREN AND I ARE MISERABLE HERE, BUT ARE STUCK IN A LEASE THAT WE HAVE 6 MORE MONTHS BEFORE WE CAN GET OUT OF. WE ARE FROM ANOTHER STATE, AND HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 6 MONTHS. SINCE WE MOVED IN, OUR CAR HAS BEEN STOLEN TWICE, WHICH THE SECOND TIME WAS NEVER RECOVERED. MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND 14 YEAR OLD ...Full review of Wingate Towers & Garden Apartments

I'm an owner of the Potomac Place Condos - I didn't live in the Potomace Place Condo building at 800 4th St. SW, but I wouldn't have lived in the building while it was rentals.
That being said, buyers please understand that the 800 Buidling is under different management than the condos. Once the buidling has been completely converted to condos and buyers have moved in the 800 Building will come under Association and ...Full review of Potomac Place Apartments

DO NOT LIVE HERE! - It is horrible!!! It may look nice but the office staff is not only RUDE they are unresponsive. I am also pretty sure it is the most expensive place to live in DC for what you get. Which is drunk GW undregrad students that get the whole building in trouble. ...Full review of 2400 M Street Apartments

nice enough building but overpriced and staff not accommodating - I'll be moving out at the end of October 2009 after one year in this building. The place itself is quite nice and well located. The desk staff are nice but the leasing office people are a pain. I was thinking about staying another year until they tried to raise my rent by $400 per month so I'm going to leave. This is not good value and they charge for every possible thing. If you have ...Full review of Jefferson At Thomas Circle

Noise is the biggest complaint - Overall, I've been here a few months and it's fine. Not thrilled but not disappointed. Pros (in no particular order) are nice renovated gym, sizable laundry facility, convenient bus lines, proximity to Admo/U street/Dupont, big grocery store net store, sq footage of apt, nice rooftop, views from apt windows, maintenance and building staff. Cons are 1) ...Full review of Dorchester House

RUN FOR THE HILLS - I HAVE BEEN IN THIS COMPLEX SINCE FEB. OF 2009. AS SOON AS MY LEASE IS UP I AM ON THE FIRST THING SMOKING TO ANOTHER COMPLEX. I LIVE IN BUILDING 4225 AND IT IS A MESS. WHEN I FIRST MOVE HERE THERE WAS A SQUATTER LIVING IN THE UNLOCKED ABANDONED APARTMENT BELOW ME. THE SQUATTER WOULD SPREAD HUMAN SECRETIONS ON THE WALLS OF THE BUILDING. THE HALLS SMELLED LIKE A SOILED DIAPER. THERE WAS A TENANT ...Full review of Belmont Crossing
