Nice Building Great Location - I am a middle aged professional that has lived at 2400M for the last 2.5 years and I have really enjoyed my time here. The building has great amenities, the maintenance and office staff have always been extremely helpful and the location is fantastic. Noise is the biggest complaint - Overall, I've been here a few months and it's fine. Not thrilled but not disappointed. Pros (in no particular order) are nice renovated gym, sizable laundry facility, convenient bus lines, proximity to Admo/U street/Dupont, big grocery store net store, sq footage of apt, nice rooftop, views from apt windows, maintenance and building staff. Our apartment was beautiful, had an amazing view, location was safe and efficient, the security officers were extremely nice, the apartment was very spacious, the staff was friendly and understanding and we rarely had problems. Great turned TERRIBLE - I lived in the Chastleton for 3 years. The first year (2002) my roomies and I loved it. Our apartment was beautiful, had an amazing view, location was safe and efficient, the security officers were extremely nice, the apartment was very spacious, the staff was friendly and understanding and we rarely had problems. When we did, they were taken care of immediately.
