Alban Towers is on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was the summer home of Golver Cleveland and the residence of Frankie "Ol' Blue Eyes" when he came to DC to perform. Charles E. Smith took over the building from another developer who had not done any renovations on it for several years and the building was sitting there in a very expensive area as an eyesore. Smith did a great job of turning the building around fast and getting construction going. When this building neared completion, the other apartment buildings in the area started to upgrade, also. Since the building is located at the top of Embassy Row, the 3-bedroom apartments(rare in DC) go very fast. Management converted the studios into 3-bedroom apartments in response to market demand. They are very successful. The building is very complex to manage and the staff are very professional. Recently, they installed new computers in the business center. The social rooms host embassy parties and wedding receptions(they are just that lovely). I love living here eventhough there can be ups and downs as in every building. I have been here since the consturction was completed in 2001 and if it were not for a job change, I would stay. I recommend Alban Towers!

LOL! How the hell would you know how "hard the building is to manage" unless you were a slimey Alban Towers office worker? Nice try, sleezeball. Next time try not to be so transparent.
