Amen, Poster Below! The Place is the Pits!

I cannot stress how spot-on the post below is. I concur with everything the poster has said, and might I add, I'm trying to convene a tenant's organization. As the poster stated, there IS no bulletin board (which would be very nice, considering other buildings in which I've lived have had these and it's nice for posting "for sale" notices and apartment and moving sales). I think management deeply fears the tenants organizing. Yes, last night a fire alarm went off AGAIN -- and, again, it was FALSE -- due to some idiotic drunken AU student's hijinks. Management KNOWS students are a problem here...but for what we're paying...this shouldn't be the case. AT ALL. Management MUST stop renting to these low life imbeciles. My husband and I were awoken at 3am the other night but two slovenly inebriated, belligerent little twits screaming beneath our balcony.
People are going to move out, Avalon management, and it's going to be the quality people: those who pay their rent on time, those who never create any type of hassle, and those who are decent, professional tenants.
The poster below also hit upon a very, very important point...management has NOT prepared for the heat wave of 100 degrees in the early spring, and gave some -------- excuse why the AC was not on. In fact, management did NOT treat it as an emergency, and left the "work" to be done the next morning, even though the first occurrence was approximately 7pm. And yes...there are elderly in this building...and had something happened, it would have been one hell of a lawsuit. As it stands, it's simply morally disgraceful.
Avalon bills this as a "luxury building," yet we are, in reality, living in a very high-priced dorm.
We're moving out.
