If you want to live in an overpriced, snobby, dangerous apartment building filled with self-entitled rich bratty AU students, Avalon is the place for you!

I can overlook the noise level, low ceilings, expensive rent, snobby/bitter/catty office staff (what's their problem anyway'), dangerous garage parking, dangerous walkways where AU students will (almost) run you over..... but having two 'false' fire alarms in the middle of the night within a 2 week span AND having my apartment flooded with water that ran through the garabage chute was what motivated me to get the crap out of there! Oh I forgot to mention, there were many OTHER false fire alarms prior to the two that I just mentioned.

I couldn't believe the amount of rent I was paying so that I could live in a stinky apartment filled with garbage water. And the management team still had the nerve to be snobby, bossy, and turn the blame on the tenants' Granted the AU students are rich idiots that got rejected from the better schools, burnt their mattress and threw cig butts down a garbage chute, take some responsibility Avalon! Fix those damn fire alarms and water sprinkler system. The tenants at Avalon do not wish to be smoked alive.

That's my rant - rent at Avalon at your own risk - they may entice you with attractive offers..... if you want luxury living on embassy row, try the Alban towers down the street, haven't heard nasty complaints from that place.

Oh....The only nice thing I have to say about Avalon was the main concierge, Nicholas, he actually did his job and got everyone's mail packages taken care of. He was the only staff member who rocked.
