I wish I had found this review site prior to signing my lease!

If you are an immature American University undergraduate who wants to join a clique of dorm rats who run the stairwells, drink beer in the elevators and cluster in the hallways, this place is for you! Kids away from home for the first time with their parents paying the bills is the over-riding theme of the place.
Staff employees pretend to care but are simply bureaucrats and functionaries who are paid well to manage the half-million monthly cashflow. (300 units @ $1.5-3k per mo.) When the sun goes down, it is the 20 year old inmates who are actually running this asylum.
If the leasing agent will allow you, take the time to actually READ your one-sided iron-clad 30-page fine-print lease carefully, not only before signing it, but before you internally "commit" to the property or accept any verbal "move-in special" you may be offered. You will eventually find this document is practically unbreakable by the tenant regardless of any extenuating circumstances.
