Granted the place looks like a dream. The rent is high enough as it is and then there are hidden costs for everything on top of that.
Let's talk about the noise, you constantly hear sirens and construction, and if you get lucky to have a place facing the alley, the wonderful smell and club racket makes it so you can't open your windows. Oh and I forgot to mention my neighbors... they have issues with my alarm clock being to high... and I can hear the woman scream during "sexy time".
The "nice" elevator seems to be broken a lot... I am glad I don't have a car because it would cost me the same amount to own the car as it would to park it. Maintenance is interesting as well... The fix-it guy showed up with his kid and let her run all over my apartment... I like kids but I am glad I was there because I don't need someone getting in my stuff, just rude.
Yes, and the bums, they are just are wonderful... smell great and like to call me a f-ing cracker.. awesome.. love it when they try to get in the building behind me too..

I am paying for what the place looks like.. I would expect everything else to be up to that level as well and it is not.
There are places not so much further away and the price is comparable and they have a pool (and better ratings).. but when I was shopping for a place they didn't have anything available.. go figure, right'

Nicole at the front desk is the best thing about the building... I can't wait to move out and I have only been here 8 months
