Not a bad place to live.

The good:
-BEAUTIFUL building.
-Very friendly and accommodating concierge.
-The maintenance has taken care of all my requests within 12 hours.
-Perfect location. I really couldn t ask for any better. Three metro lines just two blocks away, and restaurants/shopping/venues galore right around the corner.
-Lounge area provides a great extra space to read, do work or watch TV if you want to get out of your room.
-Business center very helpful for those not owning their own printer/copier/fax machine.
-Machines in the gym have individual TVs.

The bad:
-No pool.
-Garage parking is very expensive.
-No utilities/etc included in the rent and can be pricey!
-VERY expensive building, and the apartments aren t as nice/modern as one would expect for the price.
-No stairwells that go to the ground floor.
-Street noise can be a pain (but usually tapers off after 10pm).
-Lots of homeless people asking for money nearby (but really, where is this not a problem in the city').

Overall:
The location is key. If that's your top priority, this is a great place to live. If you're willing to sacrifice location and a few amenities for a lower cost, take a pass.

No disrespect intended; however, this person must be blind, deaf, and dumb. As a previous resident for 2.5 years and recently (thank goodness) relocated, I saw the service, amenities, and neighborhood deteriorate, with the costs only increasing at an exponential rate. I had a one bedroom, that was vacant quite often, and the gas and water bills were ridiculously high. In my opinion the place was one gigantic rip-off that the "perfect location" (debatable, considering the crime, homeless, and violent club patrons around the building) could not possibly justify.
