I like living here. Of course it's not cheap, but it's very convenient to be there in Chinatown.

Some of the pros :
- Awesome location. The opening of the Safeway on L and 5th in September 2008 was greatly needed. Now there's everything.
- Two concierges who are really nice, Gina (in the morning) and Nicole (on the weekend).
- The washer-dryer in the unit. Many managed communities don't offer it and I think it's something you cannot live without...
- The rooftop. Nice place. Of course we'd like a pool, but it would be overcrowded and the price of the rent would not be the same.
- The gym. It's not huge but it's got what you'd expect from a gym.
- The amenities. They're clean and safe.

Some of the cons :
- The neighborhood is noisy. Many sirens, many people on the streets, fans screaming outside the Verizon Center at night, etc. The location of course.
- The price. The location again.
- The business center. The computers are really old and need to be replaced. Don't expect to be able to do things on the Internet from there.
- Little light for some of the apartments on the alley in the lower levels. You'd better live high.

I do not regret living here, it's a nice place overall. I cannot really understand people saying that it's overprized... Come on, you pay for the gym and the staff, of course. If you want something cheaper, don't go to a managed community. I wanted a 2-BR apartment at a walking distance from my office downtown, and everything was either more expensive, or didn't have the washer-dryer in the unit... So this was the right deal.

I was only disappointed not to be able to visit the apartments that were available. I was shown an apartment that did not look like the one I eventually got. This requires confidence and is a little tricky...

Of course if you have children who need to go to school, you won't stay there. And that will be the case for me in the future.
