It ain't the Beverly Wilshire...

...but I didn't expect it to be when I moved in. Maybe it's just my building, but Belmont Crossing isn't that bad. I haven't had to call maintenance but one time, to come reset my garbage disposal, and they came the day after I called. I've had one mouse and he and I are duking it out. I'm about to start charging his tail rent. I know this time of year, when it gets cold, mice try to get in everywhere, not just at Belmont Crossing. My neighbors were loud as hell in the summer, though, shooting fireworks for Lord knows what reason and hanging out in front of the building drinking and cussing all loud. Now that got on my nerves. I never had any issues with anybody messing with my car and I can always find a place to park. So all in all, I can't complain. (I gotta admit that I prayed long and hard for guidance before I made the decision to move in). I won't be staying here forever, mostly because $840 a month is a lot to spend on an apartment when that could be going toward a house, but as far as apartments go, it's not the worst. I recommend the 3rd floor wherever you go-- it's less drama with bugs, mice and break-ins.
