I had a one bedroom apartment at the Belvedere for a little more than a year. The apartment manager was so nice and friendly. I never had problems getting packages, and anytime I needed something repaired (including changing light bulbs on ceiling lights) it was taken care of promptly.
The neighborhood is incredible. There's a huge whole foods (with a huge selection of beer and wine), there are all sorts of wonderful restaurants, there's a 24-hour CVS, there's a Caribou Coffee, there's a Landmark Theater. The neighborhood is just getting better and better, too.
My one bedroom apartment had a small foyer area, a living room, a kitchen, a rather wide hallway which I used for a dining area (had a small table/chairs and also had a little coffee area), a bathroom, and the bedroom had two closets. The kitchen was small (when you opened the oven, you would have to back into the living room), but the rest of the apartment was rather spacious for a downtown apartment. The living room had a closet in it, and a sofabed which could be opened up in it. The bedroom was quite spacious. The building is beautiful on the outside, but the apartments definitely reflect their age (building was built in 1935). The floors were the original hardwood (except in the kitchen/bathroom). There are laundry facilities in the basement (they are a little sketchy, but most basements are). The building has two elevators.
Beyond that, it was probably the least expensive apartment in the area and it's such a great area.
