I have been living here since August 2005 and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I had a roach problem that took 3 MONTHS to get under control because management is so inadequate here. One of the women in management, her name is Joy, actually LIED to my father and told him I said things to her that I NEVER did when I was dealing with the roach problem! The noise here is absolutely awful. The walls are paper thin, there are drunk college kids everywhere ALL THE TIME, and I have experienced much loitering in the courtyards late at night on the weekends. I have had MANY sleepless nights due to the noise. Don't waste your money here. I chose this place out of ignorance (I moved here from NJ for work). I plan on breaking my lease before August and moving elsewhere.

I moved out in August of 2006 and ended up back at The Berks b/c of an unfortunate roommate debacle. This was the only place that had any vacancies. I'm in a 1 bedroom now and still think this place is like living in the middle of hell. I've got noisey neighbors that have absolutely no respect for anyone else that lives here. I haven't hand any bug problems but the noise is unbearable. I often stay at other friend's places on the weekend b/c of the noise. Management does NOTHING about this problem and continues to let hordes of AU students destroy the place. I've seen vomit on the sidewalks & beer bottles on the front lawn. I came home late from work night and signs that read "Free Beer in Apartment #126. Must Be Of Age." Uhm, what in the f*ck' NO ONE IN MANAGEMENT NOTICED THIS' This apartment is located DIRECTLY above me and I had to complain at least 5 times before something was done! The hallways and stairwells reeked of alcohol the rest of the weekend! It's absolutely ridiculous, especially for the amount of money I'm spending! I've already found a new place and CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT! This place absolutely sucks!!!
