Hi, I have lived here for two and a half years. It is really awful, but I hate moving and I am a law student with no time and the Berkshire is walking distance to the AU law school. (Further down the street than the AU main campus). To be fair, the good things are that it does have a nice but weird little grocery store in the basement, and it is relatively safe-ish. At least it is in a relatively safe part of town. The guys at the front desk are sweet hearts. Sometimes they fix stuff fairly quickly when you ask them to.

On the other hand, there are roaches (yes, I am clean and get the people to come and spray but the suckers live on). There is lots of noise (this is the worst part. The walls are so thin that I can hear people coughing in the next room when I am in my bedroom, which is creepy). The parking is a DISASTER unless you pay $150 per month to get an indoor spot. Before I bought a spot in the garage, I had to wake up some mornings at 5:30 just to move my car or else get a $200 dollar ticket. (Yes, I got a $200 ticket). The office people are VERY RUDE (HORRIBLE!!!) except for Tracy. It is more like a dorm than an apartment complex - there were actually sorority postors up in the hallway for a while. I can't really control my heat and air (it is centrally determined. At some point, they decide to cut the heat on.. but until then you are screwed. Same with A/C). They raised the rent twice since I got here about 2 years ago.


Find somewhere else! There are lots of nice places very near to hear where you will have a much more pleasant living experience.
