I was hesitent to move into the Berkshire after reading all of the reviews on this website. I did anyway because it is so close to AU (and I'm and AU student). I'm not in a fraternity, I don't stay-up till all hours of the night, and neither does my room mate. I've never had any problems with noise, or management. My dishwasher broke, I informed the front desk, and they fixed it the next day. Same thing when I had trouble setting-up my DSL. Furthermore, the building is a lot nicer than I expected. The lobby is impressive, and my partment is spacious and full of light. I've been pleasently suprised with the quality of the "Berks." My experience has been great so far, so don't believe everything you read.
PS- the building has a number of free visitor parking spots around the building. Those spots are not intended for residents to park in every night. You can buy your own spot in a covered garage for a monthly fee.

I'm glad that this person is having a good experience at the Berkshire and I wish them the best of luck but it is not an accurate description of what most of the residents are likely to encounter. The noise is by far the biggest problem, followed by the maintenance and the parking.
