This is an AU dorm that AU doesn't own. I would venture to say that close to 2/3 of the building is AU students. The management staff is awful. They are unresponsive and uncaring. If I were not a student of AU, I would NEVER have lived here and was SO happy when I moved out. I lived on a top floor apartment on the west side and about half way through our lease we stopped getting hot water and the water pressure dropped in half. There were weeks when I would have to go to someone else's apartment to take a shower, it was literally that cold. When asked to fix the problem the maintenance man left a message, "Let it run longer." There is a significant roach problem as well. For a 12 month lease, I would venture to say we had a roach problem for close to 10 months. We were not the cleanest people in the world, but not dirty enough to warrant the amount of roaches. Oh and the best for last. We had MOUSE problems as well! When I went to report it to management I was told that the exterminator only comes once a week and that I would have to wait until next week. I lived with a mouse for close to two months. Oh and the building is completely insecure. The only door that locks consistently is the west side door, no one will ever ask where you are going if you enter through the main door and the door in the back was broken or open for 10 of 12 months. Oh and the garage door, also open which provides easy and complete access to the building. If you didn't get the hint by now, I would STAY AWAY!!!!!
