I lived in the Berks for a year and it was not a pleasant experience at all. The Berks staff are not nice and they don't care about the residents. If you're an AU student, it's close and not too expensive. However, speaking from my experience, I'd rather live in some place further. The place is loud and I used to hear my neighbors all the time, loud music, drunk fights, R-rated noise and etc. Second, I didn't get my deposit back from the Berks when I moved out (after the one-year lease; I didn't break the lease). Third, I didn't have water for three days because of some pipe renovation, and they told us it was one day. Fourth, there is roach all the time. A lot of them in my kitchen, very disgusting. I DO NOT recommend the place!

keep your kitchen cleaned better. roaches wont come if you dont leave food out.... common sense!!!!!!!
