Couldn't wait to leave

I lived at the Berkshire for a year and I couldn't wait to leave. The staff has a good general manager but everyone underneath him were some of the rudest and uncaring people that I've ever met. The door man watches TV throughout his entire shift and when you ask for a package he continues to watch and acts pissy that he has to get up. The leasing manager that I dealt with at the beginning was the biggest idiot that I had ever met. After filling out my lease in the office, she would see me in the entrance hall that I don't even live on a week later and tell me that "I had forgotten to fill out pieces of my application" and that she "had been looking for me everywhere." First of all, I filled out the lease in the office and she had looked at it before accepting it, so how did I forget to fill something out. Second of all, when I went to the office to fill in the missing pieces, she had no clue which parts had not been filled out. This happened two more times. Lastly, how have you been looking for me everywhere' You know where I live and you have my phone number. This was at least amusing because I was able to picture her scouring the halls and peeping around corners hoping to see me at that moment.
The walls are paper-thin and I could hear my neighbor using every form of the bathroom. People would play really crappy music at all hours of the night which I could hear perfectly through the walls but when I went into the halls to see which apartment it was from, it was nearly impossible to tell.
I once saw the doorman carrying a mouse through the hallway, that was pretty awesome.
The apartment was close to work which helped out a lot, but I would gladly live 10 minutes further away to avoid living there again. I don't recommend living there unless you really need a short commute to American.
