Don't Move In Here

I had roaches in my apartment and nobody took care of it for months. I inevitably had to look up the wording of my leasing agreement and send a letter to Gables Residential (the managing service for the apartment building) to obtain any action.
In addition, my apartment was robbed. The door man allows anybody whether they have a front door key or not to enter the building. If you want to live here lock your door. There are a lot of AU students who live in this apartment building, and I was once one of them, however due to the fact that only one or two front door keys are issued per apartment, many residents have no keys. The police told me that thefts occur within the building quite frequently. I suggest you lock your door at all times.
The font desk personnel are mostly grouchy. You may ask them to file a work order and they make it seem as though you are asking them to do you the biggest favor in the world. However the overpriced exploitive store downstairs can always prove a fun trip when you are too lazy to go the Giant. Oh and if you have a car have fun trying to park on the street or in the lot, you would have to pay for a spot in order to survive, trust me.
This building sucks. The only reason people suck it up is that its a good alternative to metro-ing to AU. But if I had the opportunity to do it again, I wouldn't.
Save yourself! Don't move in...
