I've lived here for a little over a year and I think it would near impossible to find a better deal in the Dupont/Midtown area. I recently moved out of large studio apartment and into a large 1 bedroom on a higher floor. Problems, as few as there are, are taken care of immediately. Everyone is extremely polite and respectful. As a young single female, I feel very safe and would recommend the Brunswick House to anyone who is looking for a great location and a safe environment. In early 2007, we got a new property manager, Andy Muscik. He proactively responds to issues/problems and is available pretty much 24/7. Since Andy has come to the Brunswick house, things have really changed. It's a delightful place to come home to.
In addition to all of the positive things about the building and residents, it's located in one of the hottest areas as far as nightlife is concerned. If you like a wide range of restaurants/bars/clubs, this is the place to be, no matter what orientation.
Definitely comes highly recommended!
