Mostly good

This is a well-maintained apartment building in a convenient location in Woodley Park. Compared with other apartments of its price range, the kitchens are quite large (and in a separate room, unlike most studio apartments).
Two problem areas. The kitchen and the bathrooms do not have individually controlled exhaust fans -- only exhaust ducts that are "controlled" by the landlord, who sets them at a very low speed. Hence, cooking odors are not properly ventilated. If your neighbor likes to cook with garlic, you and your clothes will soon smell like garlic!
Also, after not allowing cats, this is now a "cat friendly" building, which means that some renters let their cats roam the hallways. If you are moving in, be sure to get a written statement that your apartment was not previously occupied by a cat owner (unless you like fleas and cat dander).
Other than these two areas, I would recommend this building.
