I have lived at Calvert Woodley a little over a year, and it has been a great experience. The staff (minus one terrible concierge) is outstanding and responsive. The location is unbeatable and I consider the place one of the best kept secrets in the area. Two minutes from metro and a ten minute walk to the bars and restaurants of Adams Morgan. You can also find street parking, although sometimes it gets tricky.

We got a major bargain when we first moved in, and predictably they are jacking up rents to match demand. By the time the next lease is up, I may well be priced out of the place, but I would have liked to stay.

As a young person who likes to have people over on weekends, you'll have to deal with a lot of whiny neighbors who don't realize they live in an APARTMENT building and would sooner rat you out to management rather than cordially ask you to keep it down. It is definitely not a place you'll meet your neighbors- everyone keeps to themselves and there's not much of a community feel.

But all in all, it's superb.
