I have lived at the property for nearly 5 years. I would say that the first 4 .5 years were great and when Archstone acquired the property and the on-site management chnaged, so did my feelings about living here. The current manager is too yound and inexperienced. The manager beforehand lived at the property and had managed it for 10 years. There was a sense of community and problems were quickly addressed. Now, the snot nosed kid doesnt do anything. The eleveator floor has been missing for 3 months, the awning outside is in disrepair and the has been a leak dripping outside the roof of the garage for so long that it has actually created a divit in the ground. You know how long it take water to errod cement - aparently faster than management can get a guy with duck tape to plug a leak.
For the price we pay, we should received better service. Look at other charles e smith properties instead. Its a shame
