I have lived at the Calvert Woodley for 2 years and have enjoyed the experience. Can't beat the location in Woodley Park, all utilities included. the staff has been really friendly towards me (except for Miriam who needs an attitude adjustment). They have always responded quickly to any problems that i ahve had: blowing fuses at 10pm at night- someone came right away, pipe issues (only once).

After 2 years, and increasing the cost of laundry (is the extra 10 cents to $1.85 really going to make that much of a difference') as well as increasing my rent by $180 dollars/month.. i have found it to be my time to leave and go on to another place. Overall- great place, but probably not worth the money. The noise during the weekends from the people walking to and from Adams Morgan can get loud as well as the firetrucks and cop cars that go by alot.

My advice to apartment lookers- the further up you go on CT Avenue the cheaper the rent typically.
